Privacy Policy

Haugen-Gruppen is a distributor with internationally renowned brands within food and beverages for the grocery and catering sectors. Our organisation is based on good relations with our suppliers who are represented around the world. Effective logistics paves the way for strong and profitable growth both for ourselves and for our customers. 

Our vision is to enrich Sweden's food culture. We care about the integrity of all our customers and others who come into contact with us. All our processing of personal data takes place accordance with this policy and the requirements that follow from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Personal data and controller
Personal data is any and all information that concerns an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, account number or personal ID.

Among other things, this policy describes the processing of personal data that we carry out and explains your rights as a data subject. 

Haugen-Gruppen AB is the controller for the processing that takes place in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Description of our personal data processing
Our processing of personal data primarily concerns the use of names and contact details linked to the placing of orders, the handling of complaints, and the like. Below, we describe the personal data that is covered by our personal data processing and the purposes and legal basis for it, in addition to the duration of the processing. 

2.1 Supplier and customer communication in connection with order placement and consumer communication linked to the handling of complaints and consumer competitions

2.1.1 Personal data processing
We collect personal data in the form of contact details in connection with order placement, the handling of complaints and consumer competitions. This information consists of name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name, invoicing address and, in some cases, personal ID number and bank details. We collect this information so that we can contact you and deal with your case. 

2.1.2 Legal basis for our processing
The information that is processed in connection with order placement is processed with the support of the agreement that is entered into between you as a customer and the supplier and Haugen-Gruppen. Our processing of this personal data is necessary so that we can fulfil our obligations under the agreement. Once the agreement has expired, the information will be retained for up to three years on the basis of a balance of interests, as we believe that our interest in storing your data so that we can contact you with information and marketing outweighs your interest regarding the protection of your personal integrity. The data that is processed in connection s is retained for up to three years, so that we can fulfil our obligations under the Swedish Food Act and on the basis of a balance of interests in order to provide a good service. The personal data listed above that is used for bookkeeping purposes is retained for seven years in accordance with the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.

3. Your rights as a data subject 
As a data subject, you have certain rights under the new General Data Protection Regulation. 

3.1 Right to request access to your stored personal data
As a data subject, you have the right to request access to your stored personal data. Requests should preferably be submitted in writing and sent to us by e-mail at info@haugen-gruppen.se. We may need to carry out certain measures in order to verify the identity of the person requesting the extract. 

3.2 Other rights 
You also have the right to request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data and to request that your personal data be transferred (data portability). You also have the right to request that further processing of your personal data be limited and to request erasure of your personal data. You can also object to the processing of your personal data at any time. 

4. Transfer to third countries 
We will nog transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EES (known as "third countries"). 

Complaints 
You have the right at all times to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (datainspektionen.se, datainspektionen@datainspektionen.se, +46 (0)8 657 61 00) concerning our processing of personal data.
